Sliema beat San Giljan 13-7 to rejoin Neptunes at the top of the table as it has now become more obvious that it will be the blues and the reds who will challenge for the top honour of local waterpolo this season.

The game started very slowly as Sliema led 1-0 at the end of session 1. San Giljan took a 3-2 lead midway the second session, with the half time score reading 4-3 for the blues.

It was all Sliema from then on, as the boys widened the gap to 8-3 in the 3^rd session and 11-4 midway the 4^th quarter.

An important two points for boys from Ghar id-Dud, with no more than 5 games to go.
